You healed me fully and completely As I started life here on earth.
You knew me even before I was born. The nay-sayers were put to shame. For my life is yours.

You carried my every moment.
As I grew up under the shadow of your wings.
There were times I didn’t know you. Many times where I would run from you.
But where can I go where you will not find me.
For you came to seek out and save - me.

You gave me a beautiful family.
And promised that the boundary lines will fall in pleasant places.
You knitted us together through good times and bad.
For you knew the love of family will point me always to you. 

You cared for me in the little things.
And you promised that you will always be there for me.
I wondered why you cared for me. There were bigger things in the world.
But you told me there was nothing better than being with me. Nothing was too small that you didn’t care about.
For you came to love me and show me how deep and wide your love was for me.

You cared for me in the big things.
With illness coming into our lives.
I knew that you will be there through it all. But you required surrender and complete faith in you.
For you wanted to teach me that Your love never fails. Your promises are always good. They are always yes and amen.

You kept all my tears in a bottle and You promised that You will remember every one of them.
I asked You to take away the pain. And You did for You wanted me to know that when I wept, You did too. 

You rejoiced together with me.
I remember dancing and singing with you. Just you and me, with no one else around.
You told me that you will always be the lifter of my head.
For You wanted me to experience unspeakable joy. You pursued me in the secret place.
Where you whispered the secrets of your heart. You wrote our love story on a banner.
You woke me up every morning with a gentle brush and a sweet whisperFor You cherished these moments with me. Just the two of us, before the busyness of the day.

I told you all I have is Yours.
That I will lose myself in giving You praise.
I asked you to break my heart for what breaks yours.
And to show me a life where all I have is your Kingdom’s cause I asked You not to pass me by.

You gave me Kingdom assignments.
Assignments too big for me to fulfill on my own strength.
You brought people to pray alongside, to work alongside and a wonderful community.
You said to speak life. And I knew what you meant, because you first spoke life to me.
You said give shelter. And our home became a shelter of peace and refreshing.
For you gave me my heart’s desires - to do your will, at all costs.

You showed me the secrets of your heart.
You showed me the brokenhearted, the sick, the homeless the poor
You showed me your heart of compassion.
You showed me that loving you and loving your neighbour are the same commandment. You said “Let My will be done”.

And so I proclaim Your goodness
I will sing of Your power and grace
And with all that I have, and all that is within me, I will praise you and bless you and give you thanks.
For all my life is yours.

Let’s awaken the dawn together And as I meditate on your word.
Your face, word and work is all I seek Being with you is my heart’s deep desire.

For all my life is Yours.
