My Psalm To My Lord
A Psalm written by Lee Siew Koon during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
Blessed are you O God Most High.
I praise your name because you are without equal.O Lord, my God, you are my Strength and my Shield. You are all I need.
Sovereign Lord, justice and righteousness are the foundation of your throne, yet you pour forth your mercy, grace and love, without measure, upon me.
Lord, how do I love you in return-- for all that you have done for me, for the life and salvation you have given me throughyour Son, Jesus Christ, for His precious blood spilled in exchange for my pardon.
My love is paltry, my efforts meagre and yet, in your unfathomable grace, you chose me to be the object of your love. How can it be, Lord?
Before time began, I was on your mind. How blessed I am to be on your mind every moment of every day!
Arm in arm, you walk me through each day, hand in hand, you lead me, and each night, I am secure as you cradleme as a mother cradles her babe.
When pain and tears threatened to overtake me in valleys dark and deep, you were by my side. You wiped away mytears and soothed my furrowed brow. You still do.
When grief engulfed me, you bent low to pick me up; you rested with me by refreshing brooks to comfort and restore me.
Your love overwhelms me; I am undone.
Father, you seek me out day by day because of your great love for me. You desire to commune with me in our secret place and you wait patiently for me.
You never give up on me.
In our secret place, you wash me with water through your word to make me ready--
You desire to make me holy and unblemished, preparing me as the perfect bride for the Lamb in eternity.
Maranatha!
In days past, you have been my strong and sure refuge.
In days to come, you are my everlasting and forever dwelling place.
Today, you are my constant and faithful friend.
Blessed are you O God Most High.
I praise your name because you are without equal.I praise your name without ceasing.
You are my hope, my light, my eternity.
